Michelle’s yoga journey began by taking a friend’s class that had become a yoga teacher. Each time she took her class she felt at peace, uplifted and inspired and always left with a feeling of being relaxed and refreshed. She often thought while taking her friend’s classes that she herself would love to become a teacher and help others feel the same way.
Michelle has grown up in a background in dance and gymnastics. She had never really given up that part of her life over the years. One day while playing, she thought she might have torn a muscle in her leg/groin area. It turned out to be a herniated disc in her back. She was devastated and for years she could no longer stretch and move the same. Michelle began a home yoga practice and one day the pain that she had dealt with for so long disappeared like a miracle. That was the defining moment where she decided she definitely wanted to share the gift of yoga.
Michelle then became a certified 200 RYT in Oct 2013 and later received her 500 RYT certification in August 2016. Teaching yoga has become her passion and her intention is to always teach with excellence, inspire and bring forth positive light and energy to all. Michelle strives to add value and to help make a difference in the lives of others. She aspires people to be their best selves and to reach their highest potential. Michelle provides encouragement and support to her students by offering suggestions of self-love and worthiness. She guides her class to find their own heart’s desire while leaving her students feeling recharged and rejuvenated after taking her class.
