BASIC & BEGINNER YOGA This class focuses on breathe (pranayama), building the foundation of the postures (asana), alignment and body awareness. This class is suited for those new to yoga and experienced practitioners.
CHAIR YOGA Practice yoga in the chair. This class is appropriate for beginners, folks with limited mobility and those recovering from injury. $5/class – pay at the studio.
COMPLETE YOGA This energizing class may include vinyasa flow (linking poses and breath), some intermediate – advanced poses and inversions. This class is most appropriate for yogis with some experience and athletes with body awareness, but everyone is welcome. Instructors rotate each Saturday morning.
FLOW YOGA For experienced yogis, these classes explore advanced postures, generate heat, build core strength and include inversions. Come prepared to sweat!
HAIR OF THE DOWNDOG This class is offered the 1 Sunday of each month at our local brewery, Grove Roots. Join for a complete yoga class followed by a delicious beer of your choice.
HAPPY HOUR YOGA Appropriate for all levels, fun funky and usually involves a little bit of everything!
KARMA YOGA Appropriate for all levels. This is a donation based class. Proceeds benefit local charities.
FAMILY YOGA A basic, fun, introductory yoga class for parents and their children. Make yoga a family activity that you can do together. Move, stretch, breathe and relax. Join 200HR Yoga teacher Allison DeCaro as she guides the children through basic poses that emphasize co-ordination, flexibility and encouraging positive, creative thinking in a safe environment. Adults: $13.00 drop-in, or class packages are accepted, Children (18 yrs & under) $5.00 with participating adult
TODDLER YOGA STORY TIME AND STRETCH (2nd and 4th Thursdays) This class is specifically designed for pre-school age children 5 years of age and under. Children are taught the basic fundamental poses of yoga in a fun, creative way. Children are encouraged to move, stretch, play warm-up games, and learn to engage with other children. The latter half of the class includes reading aloud to the children to encourage focus, attention and engage in a relaxing soothing activity before final meditation. Join 200Hr Registered Yoga Teacher Allison DeCaro as she brings her unique, fun and stimulating style of teaching for your little.
WELLNESS WALKING A class of mindful walking. Kelley will guide you in self evaluation, giving you stretching, strengthening and clear mechanical adjustments to rebalance the body in movement. These classes can eliminate pain throughout the body and help to avoid surgeries. We will do some walking outside.
YIN YOGA Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin generally targets the connective tissues that are not normally exercised in hatha yoga. Poses are held for 1 to 10 minutes, thus moving deeper into the joints.
YOGA FOR LUNCH Appropriate for most. This class includes pranayama (breathing), beginner and intermediate yoga poses and deep relaxation.
